We are $300 closer to our $1,200 goal as of October 28, 2024! We brought Princess's case to you 3 weeks ago on our Facebook page. A client rescued Princess, a 4 month old pup, and her 3 year old mom from a backyard breeder. Our client had tried for 2 years to get the mom away from this guy before he bred her, but she was only successful AFTER the mom got pregnant, lost all but 1 of her puppies, and ended-up with a life-threatening infection.

I'm so happy to announce that both Princess and her mom are safe and loved by their foster mom, and they are flourishing! Their foster mom has given them the love, attention and training they both crave. That pup is a smarty-pants, and is doing extraordinarily well with the routine and training from their foster mom.

Adoption for Princess cannot happen until after December, so the adoption process is on hold for now. However, we are doing what we can to not only get this pup all the normal medical care a growing pup needs, but we're trying to help the foster mom with the expenses associated with an active pup!

If you can help in any way, whether donating or getting the word out, we would be HUGELY appreciative! Every nickel counts, so no monetary donation is too small. You can donate to our collection jug at our reception desk, or you can donate to GoFundMe at: https://gofund.me/2ae9da7d . Thank you so much for your consideration!! ~Peri, CVH
