Our Team
Kathy K. Clark, DVM
Dr. Kathy Clark is the owner of Clark Veterinary Hospital which was started by her father in 1955. Having grown-up in the area, she has a close connection to her clients and their pets, many of whom she has known for a long time.
Dr. Clark graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science, received a PhD in genetics from the University of New Hampshire, and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Tufts University. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She continues to to stay apprised of the latest in veterinary medicine through attending conferences and seminars in order to offer her clients the best possible care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Clark plays the oboe and English horn in the Noank-Mystic Community Band, where she is a member and treasurer. She has two adult daughters, Sarah and Leslie, and in 2022, Dr. Clark adopted a beautiful rescue dog, Maddie.
Dawn
Veterinary Assistant
Dawn has been with the practice for over 25 years, making her our most senior, and most beloved, team leader! With her many years of experience, she's also a FearFree certified Veterinary Assistant.
Dawn is the proud grandmother of two beautiful kids, as well as being a wonderful mom to her rescue Collie-flower, Skye.
Marcia
Receptionist
Marcia has been with Clark Veterinary since 2008. As our senior receptionist, she is the most recognized, and favorite, contact point for our clients! Marcia is also FearFree certified.
When not in the office, her free time is spent outdoors, with her four grandkids, watching the Minnesota Vikings, or relaxing with dog, Jackson, and cat, Piper.
Peri
IT/Office Assistant
Peri has been with the practice since 2010. Since her time at Clark Veterinary, she has received certificates for Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Assistant Physical Therapy, Wildlife Basics for Veterinary Professionals, and is FearFree certified.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Meghan
Veterinary Assistant
Meghan began with us in 2015, bringing with her a decade of experience in the veterinary field. She is also a Certified Abdominal Ultrasound and Echocardiogram Technician.
MaryAnna
Veterinary Assistant
MaryAnna has been with the practice since 2022. She interned, and never left! She completed her Veterinary Assistant course in 2021, is certified in abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography, and is a FearFree certified Veterinary Assistant. Prior to here career path in the veterinary field, she was a certified medical assistant and a certified technician in EKG and phlebotomy.
When MaryAnna isn't in the office, she spends her time with dogs, Tucker and Gloria, and her herd of cats, Little Girl, Winifred Margaret, Josephine Penelope and Nuggeter Natalia Nugetski.
Kylie
Veterinary Assistant/Reception
Kylie started at Clark Veterinary in 2022 as a receptionist, but she has added veterinary assistant to her resume! She is currently in nursing school.
Kylie has 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 lizards!
Leissy
Veterinary Assistant
Leissy has been with Clark Veterinary since 2023. She completed her Veterinary Assistant course in 2022, is certified in abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography, and is a FearFree certified Veterinary Assistant.
Leissy moved to the US in 2017, and is bilingual in both English and Spanish. She spends her free time with family and friends, enjoying short trips and concerts. She has a Maltese named Luna that loves people and attention.
Taylor
Reception
Taylor started with us in 2025, and has become FearFree certified.
He enjoys spending time with his turtle, Ignacio, and is currently in school for videography.
Nancy
Reception
Nancy has been with Clark Veterinary since 2025, and she came to us with over 28 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist!
In her spare time, she likes to read and listen to music.
Morgan
Veterinary Assistant
Morgan started with us in 2025 after graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in animal sciences. She previously worked at a a FearFree feline-specific clinic, and is a FearFree certified Veterinary Assistant.
She loves hiking, sewing, and hanging out with her two dogs, Lua and Gatsby, and her cat, Nugget.
